Confident Living With Vision Loss is a six-session workshop designed to help individuals experiencing vision loss continue to live with dignity and independence. A variety of topics are covered, including community resources, adaptive strategies and technology, and education about sight loss. MAB Connections, our automated attendant telephone service, is your gateway to our programs and services. MAB Connections provides listeners with information they may not receive because they can no longer read conventional print. It includes daily television schedules, supermarket specials, entertainment news, and service information. Call 24 hours a day. The MAB Resource List contains more than 120 publications on subjects including eye conditions and diseases, large print resources, cooking and recreation resources, and resources on coping with visionloss. It is available free in large print, audiocassette, and PC disk. Many of the items in the list are available in large print and/or audiocassette. View a PDF of the MAB Resource List by clicking the link near the top of this page or by visiting our newsletter page. Our Regional Offices distribute Newsletters to their local consumers.
