Our Stories: Thriving After Brain Injury

MAB Community Services honored Dr. Douglas I. Katz, Medical Director at Braintree Rehabilitation Hospital’s Brain Injury Program, at its Gala in April 2010. Dr. Katz is a leader in the field of traumatic brain injury who has changed the lives and life chances of countless individuals. The program highlighted MAB’s brain injury program, The Ivy Street School, where a comprehensive therapeutic environment is the foundation for adolescents to build the skills needed for a successful future.

  • Ivy Street Smart, a film by Norman Lang and Amanda Smart.
  • A new multimedia work, After Brain Injury, by Lou Jones, one of Boston's most diverse and inspiring photographers.
  • The debut performance of Our Stories, a play based on the real-life stories of Ivy Street students, performed by an exceptional cast.
