Sponsor a Classroom

Our students are lively, engaging youngsters interested in the typical teenage pursuits of sports, music, movies, clothes, books, learning, and of course, other teens. Life at the Ivy Street School gives them supportive peers and a caring community of teachers and rehabilitation staff to help them explore their individuality and come to terms with their injury. And it provides a structured, tailored learning environment that pushes them to achieve academically and learn as many life skills as possible, preparing them for life in the community.

We offer you the opportunity to sponsor one of these classrooms and become a member of the Ivy Street School. Your $5,000 contribution offers you or your company an exclusive partnership with one of our classrooms that includes:

  • Email updates from the classroom about their activities and achievements
  • Invitation to visit the class and attend a lunchtime barbecue
  • Opportunity for your company (or you and your friends) to volunteer at an Ivy Street School Family Night
  • Recognition at MAB’s Annual Volunteer Appreciation event
  • Your name and logo on MAB’s website for one year
  • Recognition as a Gold sponsor at the Vision 5K (with sponsor benefits)
  • The opportunity to walk with your classroom at the Vision 5K
  • Your company name on your classroom’s t-shirts
  • A field trip by the classroom to your company, if desired

This giving opportunity is a powerful way to make your philanthropy personal and meaningful. Your employees will be given concrete opportunities to make a difference, while your company receives recognition and sponsorship benefits.

"I choose to give to MAB because when I needed help, MAB’s arm reached out and took hold of mine. I lost my vision in my thirties but when my husband died I had to face life all over again as a blind person in my sixties. MAB’s support group saved me. My MAB volunteer helps me to be productive, but he’s also one of my best friends. MAB has made all the difference in my life."
