Vision 5K
The 2010 Vision 5K held June 20 at Boston College joined MAB with partner organizations The Carroll Center, National Braille Press, and Perkins School for the Blind to raise funds and awareness for the blind and visually impaired community. Visually impaired athletes ran alongside sighted runners on the course, and some participants even took on the Blindfold Challenge, completing the 5K blindfolded led by guides, to show solidarity for their visually impaired peers. Race day was a hot and humid one, with post-race festivities including live music and food to celebrate, fun for the whole family. Read more at: http://www.vision5k.org
