Vocational Services
Preparing people with disabilities for workplace success.
Employment enhances your self worth, increases your financial stability, and provides meaning to your life. For an individual with disabilities, the chance to receive training and on-the-job experience at a young age can make all the difference to future success. MAB’s Vocational Program helps adolescents and adults with disabilities gain the skills they need to succeed in the workplace.
“Work is the most important thing we can push people towards. Work is the most validating; it’s the most competent. It’s an arena where people can practice newly acquired skills. They can use cognitive behavioral skills, they can use problem solving skills, social skills, etc. So we set them up with job coaches. It’s training in context, and we think that’s really the important thing to be doing.”
- Dr. Ron Allen, Director of Brain Injury Services,
The Ivy Street School
"MAB Works!"

"On Saturday night I went out to dinner. I had a hamburger and fries, and an ice cream sundae for dessert. I paid for it with my own money, from working at MABWorks."
