“Our Stories” on Display at Public Library of Brookline

MAB’s “Our Stories” photography exhibit is now on display at the Public Library of Brookline Coolidge Corner branch. The exhibit will be up until the end of November, and we encourage patrons to visit the library at 31 Pleasant St. in Brookline to view pieces from this moving collection.

“Our Stories” combines stunning photography by Meg Landers with text narration, telling the stories of 15 individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities in our programs, dispelling stereotypes and shining a light on the deinstitutionalization movement and the courage and determination these individuals displayed as they overcame their challenges to lead full, satisfying lives in the community.
