Boston Globe Magazine Essay Highlights MABVI Volunteer Program
MABVI’s one-on-one volunteer program has been featured in an essay in the “Connections” section of the Boston Globe Magazine! Erika Fine wrote a piece about her relationship with Marcia, the woman for whom she volunteers through MABVI, and in particular their shared interest in jewelry. Erika writes about her initial amazement at Marcia’s grasp of subtle differences in color despite being born blind.
