Ivy Street School Holds Excellence in Special Education Summit

On September 30th, Ivy Street School held its second annual Excellence in Special Education Summit at the Whitehead Institute. The event was held in memory of MAB Community Services Board member John Pratt. The goal of this annual Summit is to promote best practices in the field by highlighting innovative research and its real-world application.

This year’s keynote speaker was Dr. Ross Greene, autism expert and founder of Lives in the Balance, and the event also featured a series of workshops on topics such as brain injury, autism spectrum disorder, and transition planning.
