Solutions in Sight: A Summit to Address the Vision Loss Crisis
Recently the Massachusetts Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired (MABVI) hosted a forward-thinking, solutions-driven summit to address gaps in services for individuals who are visually impaired.
The event featured speakers such as Hugh Herr and Haben Girma as well as expert panel discussions, gathering thought leaders in technology, healthcare, business, and beyond to discuss how to address the needs of the growing population of older adults with vision loss as well as continue to serve the younger generation of people who are blind.
MABVI stresses that this event marked only the beginning of this conversation, and that they look forward to the exciting ideas and innovations that will come of it.
