MABWorks a community-based day program focused on helping individuals develop the skills they need to pursue their life interests and become active participants in their own lives. Whether an individual wants to learn how to use public transportation, go shopping, develop meaningful friendships, or learn how to budget, MABWorks can do it.

MABWorks also provides the support necessary for individuals to develop job skills and find volunteer opportunities, as well as competitive employment in the community.

MABWorks also has unique programming geared targeted towards young adults. The goal of MA’s Young Adult Program is to support young people as they transition to adulthood and become active participants in their own lives. A person-centered team helps our young adults develop the skills they need to fully engage in their community. Our goal is to help them take the driver’s seat as they build their life.

Participants will gain a sense of independence as we support them as they choose what they’d like to explore – whether that means visiting a local library, coffee shop, farmers market, college campus or the YMCA. Public transportation is used for most travel.

This program is designed to meet the unique needs of individuals from their transition into adult programming to the age of 35.
